A mini Logan’s Library has made it to the Oncology Service! As many of you know, Logan and his family, along with the help of Kohl’s, have been diligent in bringing stuffed animals and books to Wills Eye Hospital here in Philadelphia. Logan was diagnosed with retinoblastoma in 2009 and has had his fair share of doctor’s visits and treatments. In the beginning of the year, a library for children was dedicated in Logan’s honor in the Pediatrics’ Service Playroom at Wills Eye. The Oncology Service is now lucky enough to have their own mini version of Logan’s Library. Logan knows that waiting for a doctor’s appointment, especially at a young age, can be trying. He believes that books and toys are the best way to keep everyone occupied and happy. Thank you Logan and family! You are bringing joy to all of the children that will be visiting us here at Wills Eye Hospital and the Ocular Oncology Service.
